On 1 June 2009, a Soho legend was born.

What started as a late-night cabaret tucked away in the heart of Soho has grown into one of London's longest-running and most beloved weekly entertainment experiences. This June, we're celebrating 17 years of Kinky Kabaret.

For nearly two decades, Kinky Kabaret has been home to unforgettable performances, outrageous characters, surprise guest appearances, West End stars, drag royalty, and the kind of late-night chaos that could only happen in Soho.

Over the years, thousands of audience members have passed through the doors of Freedom Bar, discovering future theatre stars, celebrating milestones, dancing on tables, and becoming part of the ever-growing Kinky Kabaret family. From iconic Monday nights to celebrity drop-ins and impromptu performances that have become the stuff of Soho legend, Kinky Kabaret has remained a unique fixture of London's nightlife.

To mark this milestone, we're handing the stage back to some of the performers who helped shape our story.

Throughout June, a series of special cast takeovers will see some of our most iconic hosts, singers, drag queens, and performers return to Freedom Bar Soho for four unforgettable nights of celebration.

The 17th Birthday Celebration

Join us on Monday 8 June as we raise a glass to 17 incredible years of Kinky Kabaret with spectacular performances, special guests, surprise moments, and plenty of Soho mischief.

From 10:30pm, expect powerhouse vocals, larger-than-life personalities, unforgettable entertainment, and the electric atmosphere that has kept audiences coming back week after week for seventeen years.
