On 24 June 2026, Baby Grand Collective had the privilege of producing a spectacular Wicked-inspired gala for Salesforce Outforce in aid of Just Like Us, the LGBT+ young people’s charity.

Hosted at the beautiful Pan Pacific Ballroom in London, the evening brought together theatrical design, West End talent, drag excellence, fundraising, storytelling and a full room of guests ready to celebrate Pride with purpose.

By the end of the night, the event had raised over £30,000 for Just Like Us through ticket sales, donations, raffle prizes and a live auction.

"You didn't just bring my vision to life, you exceeded every expectation. The detail, talent, energy and magic were simply spectacular."

Georgia Pemberton President, Outforce UK & OSP Account Executive, Salesforce

Supporting Just Like Us

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity, working with schools and young people across the UK to make education safer, happier and more welcoming for everyone.

Founded in 2016, the charity runs School Diversity Week, a UK-wide celebration of LGBT+ equality in primary schools, secondary schools and colleges. Their work also includes free LGBT+ inclusive educational resources, school talks, student-led Pride Groups and an Ambassador Programme, which trains LGBT+ 18 to 25 year olds to speak in schools about allyship.

It was an honour to help create an evening that celebrated the charity’s vital work while raising funds to support the next generation.

Entering the World of Oz

From the very beginning, we wanted the evening to feel immersive. Guests weren’t simply attending a gala, they were stepping into Oz.

Baby Grand Collective created a bespoke event identity inspired by the world of Wicked, including our own custom Oz-style emblem, which appeared throughout the visual design. The main ballroom was themed around the iconic Oz Dust Ballroom, creating a theatrical world of green, pink, shimmer and spectacle.

Inside the ballroom, custom digital visuals transformed the space, with screens reflecting a room split between Glinda-inspired pink and Elphaba-inspired green. At the start of the show, guests were taken on a visual journey through the window and into Oz, setting the tone for the evening ahead.

We also brought the yellow brick road from screen to stage with a custom-designed physical yellow brick road running through the room. At the centre of the dance floor sat a bespoke Oz emblem mosaic, creating a striking centrepiece for the entire event.

A Glinda-Inspired Arrival

The evening began with a champagne reception inspired by Glinda’s sparkling world.

Guests arrived into a pink, effervescent space complete with balancing acrobats, custom-designed cocktails, a shimmer photo wall, pink uplighters, smoke-filled bubbles and a 360 photo booth. Baby Grand Collective also designed a custom video frame for the booth, giving guests beautifully branded content as the camera swept around them.

It was soft, sparkling and theatrical, the perfect opening chapter before the doors to the Oz Dust Ballroom were revealed.

West End Wicked Magic

Once guests entered the ballroom and took their seats, the show began.

The evening was hosted by the fabulous Karla Bear, who brought charisma, comedy and theatrical sparkle to the stage. Following a gorgeous opening from Salesforce’s Georgia Pemberton, guests were treated to a magnificent Wicked set performed by West End stars Laura Pick, Charlie Baptie and David Albury, all of whom have appeared in West End or touring productions of Wicked.

The performance featured custom-designed digital backdrops, transporting the room through the Emerald City, the enchanted forest and Glinda’s bubblegum pink garden.

It was a true West End moment, intimate, powerful and full of heart.

Pride, Performance and Party Energy

During the main course, guests enjoyed a DJ set from the brilliant LGBTQIA+ DJ Wayne, performing from a custom-designed DJ booth created especially for the event.

The night then erupted into a Pride performance featuring some of London’s most exciting drag and cabaret talent, including Karla Bear, Mercedes Benz, Dede Licious and Sophia Stardust. With talent from RuPaul’s Drag Race, the West End and London’s cabaret scene, the performance brought colour, energy and unapologetic joy to the ballroom.

The fundraising continued with a live auction hosted by Carl Mullaney, alongside a raffle and donations throughout the evening.

To close the night, Emma Lindars, Laura Pick and David Albury led a live disco party finale, filling the room with powerhouse vocals, dancefloor classics and one final burst of Baby Grand magic.

Over £30,000 Raised

Through ticket sales, donations, raffle prizes and the live auction, the evening raised more than £30,000 for Just Like Us.

We are incredibly proud to have produced an event that celebrated Pride, platformed extraordinary LGBTQIA+ talent and supported a charity making a real difference to young people across the UK.

From the first champagne pour to the final disco anthem, this was a night filled with purpose, performance and pure Oz-worthy spectacle.
